Establishing Service

At Versant Power, we make every effort to establish new electric service as quickly as possible and to ensure the process meets all reasonable expectations. The typical process for establishing service takes approximately eight days after the planning process is complete. It may take longer depending on individual requirements.

Our field technicians will contact you within three business days of your initial request. The service planner will then arrange for a visit to review the site and provide an estimate of service delivery.

Although Versant Power strives to meet your expectations, unforeseen situations occasionally can delay the process. (For example, emergency outage work related to storms or accidents, backlogs in workload, or complexities with certain rules and regulations mandated by state and local municipalities).

To request service activation to an existing residence, call Versant Power's Customer Contact Center at (207) 973-2000.
