Versant Power to upgrade equipment for Dedham, Lucerne customers

Bangor and Presque Isle, Maine — Versant Power crews will install new equipment to better support increased electrical load in parts of Dedham and Lucerne next week.

Customers on Lakeview Avenue and side roads off Lakeview Avenue, as well as part of Bald Mountain Road and side roads off Bald Mountain Road, will experience service interruptions during this time as crews work to improve equipment to prevent future outages and power fluctuations. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Work will begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8, and is expected to be complete by 1 p.m. The rain date is Thursday, Dec. 9.

Motorists are urged to slow down or move over and change lanes, when possible, if approaching utility crews working on roadways. Customers who use generators or alternate heating sources are reminded to ensure they are used in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines at all times.
